Sometimes you remember a name. Sometimes an unfamiliar number appears in a missed call or text. Sometimes you remember the street but not the family.
Directory searches prepared People data locally by name, formatting-insensitive phone number, or address. The result explains why it matched, then opens the person and the actions that belong to the moment.
Planning Center keeps doing the work your church depends on. Directory gives that permitted People information a focused iPhone home.

People Map gives the selected directory source a geographic view. Shared addresses stay together, and larger directories cluster nearby households until a closer view is useful.
From a person's contact card, People Nearby shows others at the same address first, followed by people ordered by approximate straight-line distance. It provides context for visits, meals, practical care, and follow-up without deciding what care should look like.
Map features use the addresses already stored in the selected directory. They do not request or use your iPhone's current location.

Prayer connected to people
Remember the need. Follow up with care.
Keep a private prayer request with the person it is about, not in a disconnected list. Review active, ongoing, and answered requests, then move back to the person when it is time to follow up.
Prayer requests stay local unless you choose private iCloud sync. They are never written back to Planning Center.

Your permissions
Directory only reads People information your Planning Center account is already permitted to access.
Prepared locally
Permitted directory sources, people, and profile images are kept in protected local storage for quick, offline access.
No ads or behavioral tracking
The apps do not include advertising SDKs and do not track you across apps or websites.

Does Directory replace Planning Center?
No. Directory is a focused iPhone companion for People information your church already keeps in Planning Center.
What Planning Center access do I need?
You sign in with your own Planning Center account. Directory can only prepare Everyone and People lists that account is permitted to access.
Does it work offline?
Yes. After setup, prepared directory sources and profile images are kept locally so you can browse and search them without waiting for a refresh. Actions that depend on a network or another service still need that service to be available.
Does People Map use my location?
No. People Map and People Nearby use stored directory addresses. They do not request or use your device's current location.
Does Ministry Margin store my directory on its servers?
No. Directory requests go directly between the app and Planning Center. Directory and prayer data are not sent to a Ministry Margin server.
